What is Law?

Today is the very first lecturer for BBL 3014 ,Legal Framework for Multimedia. Our lecturer name is Mr.SONNY ZULHUDA. The first question that he asked was what is law? There are few answers came out from students such as law is rules that set by government, law used to police particular country. After that, Mr Sonny gave us a brief introduction that law and government are not seperatable, law is a social instrument.

But how can we differentiate between legal law and the theory law such as "Law of Leadership", "Law of Love"? Those "laws" were just a rules that guide people to do something but not legal regulations that set by government. Another example that can make us more clear about law is culture, social tradition norm are not a law. People won't get fine or send to jail if do something that oppose with the culture or norm.

Beside that, every law must be white and black. But sometimes that's some unwritten law can be enforce too.

The main objective of law is to control human behaviour. The laws can be enforce by the enforcement agency, Polices of every country.
